What is expected in each research paper? They have to focus on one or more of these following areas.
Productivity Science (Industrial Engineering Science), Productivity Engineering (Industrial Engineering) Productivity Management (Industrial Engineering Management)
Each research paper giving contribution to science has to bring out implications for Productivity Engineering (Industrial Engineering) Productivity Management (Industrial Engineering Management).
Productivity Science (Industrial Engineering Science) - Exploration, Description, Causal Explanation, Validation, Theory improvement (Creating a new theory based on earlier paper by refining theory).
Productivity Engineering (Industrial Engineering) - Invention, Commercialization, Design Formulas, Innovations (Applications in new (different) products or processes).
Productivity Management (Industrial Engineering Management). Management of industrial engineering activities, studies, projects and departments.

Description
Technology, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) will substitute, replace or change the office and administrative functions performed by people. Our understanding of how the specific technology, AI and automation changes and transformations will shape the future of office work remains limited. With the support of the NSF Future of Work Program, we have gathered perspectives from office workers, and assembled an interdisciplinary team of experts in topics related to office work. In this discussion panel, these experts will discuss the ramifications of technological transformation on various facets of office work, including the following:
(1) the design, implementation, use and management of artificial intelligence to facilitate office work (2) the educational, training and workforce development needs of office workers
(3) new modalities for performing office work, and
(4) the health and well-being of office workers.
Panelists
Arunkumar Pennathur, The University of Texas at El Paso
Andrew Kusiak, University of Iowa
Laila Cure, Wichita State University
Tugce Isik, Clemson University
