An operation process chart is to be made for every process. It has to be improved first. This will make the core value addition process and its inspection for quality assurance more productive. This will ensure productivity and quality of the output. Any modification of the production operation should not affect the quality of the output. Industrial engineer has to do a process FMEA to ensure that his productivity process improvements are quality neutral. They do not decrease quality in any way. Similarly comfort of the operations also should not be affected. An ergonomic analysis has to follow suggested process improvements.
Then a modified flow process chart is to be made and flow operations are to be improved.
