I am originally from Roseville, MN and attended college at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND earning a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management. I currently work at Carley Foundry in Blaine, MN as a Process Engineer developing tooling and processes to produce aluminum castings for the aerospace, medical device and recreational vehicle industries. My past work has been at other local foundries working with iron, steel, aluminum and magnesium alloys and in positions including Production Control, Quality Engineering (CQE) and Facility Engineering. I really enjoy my work in the foundry industry applying the latest engineering methods and tools to an industry that has been around for thousands of years. Throughout my career I have been able to apply my core IE skills such as time studies, facility design and layout, ergonomics, engineering economics, production control, and project management.
