At a small manufacturing company (Job Shops, HMLV, MTO), there are some chances for implementing VE, e.g., 1) Request by the client for lower purchasing price (lower costs at the company), 2) Request to join the VE team or Target Costing or Co-development of the products, etc., and VE consultant (including VE academician) needs to clarify such chance/trend, etc., I think.
