Record: 2573 kilometers on one battery charge

Students at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have set a new record: With a modified version of their electric car called muc022, the “ TUfast Eco ” team covered a good 2,573 kilometers on a single battery charge. The full title of the record achieved at the IAA Mobility is “Greatest distance by electric vehicle, single charge (non-solar)”.
The vehicle, which weighs 170 kilograms, with a larger battery. A permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM) with 400 watts of power served as the drive.
