As a Continuous Improvement Technician you will be responsible for making process adjustments, as well as minor maintenance adjustments to ensure compliance with the production schedule and quality and safety standards.


This position reports to

Production Development Manager


Your responsibilities

Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets

Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components

Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements

Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specification

Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team

Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

Your background

2 years of experience with Lean Manufacturing tools.

Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and SAP.

A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines

A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills

A Electrical, Electromechanical Technician or related.

Advanced level of English.

What’s the role?

As a Continuous Improvement Manager you will drive operational improvement across the Kings Lynn site in line with our site strategy, resulting in step changes to key metrics through the implementation of lean techniques.  You will have an opportunity to develop and become a recognised expert on site problem solving and continuous improvement activities and will be expected to facilitate teams of multi skilled and cross functional associates.

Able to manage detailed problems, effectively prioritise, influence others and have strong drive for results you pro-actively lead a large, key operational project including utilising data to identify opportunities, influencing and motivating others to manage improvement and using the site lean toolbox to effectively problem solve.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be of degree calibre with some experience / exposure to site lean tools in a manufacturing environment. Highly tenacious and resilient with a positive and confident attitude, you’re a great communicator with the ability to facilitate cross functional teams and influence a number of key stakeholders.
