According to the EY 2023 Work Reimagined Survey, 84% of employers say they expect to have implemented GenAI within the next 12 months, with some functions more eager to embrace new technology than others. For example, 93% of mobility functions are already using GenAI to some extent, as reported in the EY 2024 Mobility Reimagined Survey .


According to Gartner, by 2025, 50% of knowledge workers will use AI virtual assistants daily for tasks ranging from data analysis to content creation – up from 2% in 2019.

Deloitte rolls out artificial intelligence chatbot to employees

About 75,000 staff to be given access to ‘PairD’ tool with advice to validate ‘accuracy and completeness’

PwC is using AI chatbots in its legal and tax divisions to speed up the work of its employees by summarising large documents and identifying compliance issues. 

Law firm Allen & Overy has  created an AI contract negotiation tool that drafts new agreements that lawyers can then amend or accept.

Both employees and employers show enthusiasm for Generative AI (GenAI), with a net positive 33% expecting benefits to productivity and new ways of working, and 44% net positive for impacts on flexible working. But both groups see GenAI training as a low priority.
