Currently, the top ten producers of cocoa in the world are Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Cameroon and
Nigeria in West Africa; Indonesia in South East Asia; and Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, the Dominican
Republic and Colombia in Latin America. The two main producers have a
considerably higher level of production than the rest of the countries.
